MCS Group is delighted to be working with a leading financial services organisation is building out a brand-new AI Centre of Excellence and is hiring an experienced Python software engineer to help take AI from experimentation into real-world production.

This is a hands-on engineering role, ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable systems and turning complex ideas into robust, secure platforms - rather than pure research or modelling work.

The Role

You'll work in a cross-functional team alongside product, data and engineering colleagues to deliver AI-powered solutions into live, regulated environments.

Key responsibilities

Taking ML/AI solutions from concept through to production

What We're Looking For

Strong Python software engineering background
Experience building and deploying production-grade systems
Solid engineering fundamentals: CI/CD, testing, monitoring
Cloud experience in AWS and/or Azure
Comfortable working with distributed systems, orchestration and data pipelines
Awareness of security, governance and regulated environments (nice to have) Open to senior software engineers keen to move into AI/ML, provided your engineering foundations are strong. Why Join?
