For over 100 years, CinePostproduction has been one of the leading international service providers in the film industry. At our Berlin-Tempelhof location—which features our own cinema and a team of about 15 colleagues—we produce films, supply cinemas, and develop innovative software products. To support our in-house services in post-production and distribution of feature films, we have been developing our own software products for 15 years. Today, our products SHARC (film distribution to cinemas worldwide) and COPRA (streaming platform for review and approval) are among the world’s leading tools for filmmakers. Our software is built on practical experience—and is used by customers around the globe. As a small, close-knit team, we combine the creative energy of the film world with modern software development. We are increasingly relying on AI-powered workflows and are looking for new team members who will actively help shape this transformation.

Your Role

As part of our small team, you’ll work on a wide range of tasks—from front-end development and UI/UX to DevOps. You’re not just a specialist, but a versatile developer eager to contribute to various parts of the stack and diverse projects.

Frontend Development: Designing and implementing complex yet intuitive web interfaces using Vue.js and Element+

UI/UX Design: Helping shape the user experience of our products—from wireframes to final implementation

Backend: Further development and maintenance of our PHP/Yii2-based APIs and services

AI Integration: Evaluation and integration of AI tools and agents into our development workflows and products

DevOps & Infrastructure: Collaboration on CI/CD pipelines, deployment, and server administration

Bug fixing & quality assurance: Systematic error analysis and resolution across the entire stack

Video technology: Occasional work with embedded video players and the FFMPEG-based transcoding pipeline. What you bring to the table You should be able to:

Solid experience with Vue.js (or a comparable modern JS framework)

Good knowledge of PHP and ideally Yii2 or similar frameworks

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript

Experience developing responsive, user-friendly web interfaces

A keen eye for UI/UX and the ability to make design decisions independently

Flexibility and initiative – you enjoy working on varied tasks and think outside the box

Strong written and spoken German and English skills Bonus points for our team:

Experience with AI-driven development

Knowledge in the field of Agentic AI – e.g., setting up secure development environments for Agentic workflows, experience with agents such as Claude Code and Codex, MCP

Experience with Element+, Quasar, or comparable component libraries

Expertise in video encoding/transcoding (FFMPEG)

Background in security or performance optimization
