We're working with an innovative, cloud-native technology client delivering mission-critical platforms used by large, regulated organisations. Their products operate at scale, demand high availability, and place a strong emphasis on security, resilience, and performance.
This is a hands-on Senior DevOps role where you'll take ownership of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and platform reliability, helping shape DevOps best practices as the organisation continues to scale.
Responsibilities
Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines, embedding security and quality controls to support reliable delivery at scale.
Design and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (CDK / CloudFormation).
Build and operate monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions to support 99.99% uptime targets.
Lead the migration of containerised workloads into ECS, improving scalability and resilience.
Support the transition from a monolithic platform towards an event-driven microservices architecture.
Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure smooth, secure, and efficient delivery. Experience:
5+ years' experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or similar roles.
Strong experience in AWS, cloud-native architectures, and Infrastructure as Code (ideally CDK in TypeScript).
Solid background with Docker, ECS, and modern container platforms.
Proven experience embedding security best practices into DevOps pipelines and cloud environments.
Familiarity with CI/CD tooling, Git-based workflows, and Agile/DevOps ways of working.
Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments and contributing to architectural change.
Confident communicator, able to collaborate across teams and mentor others. What's on offer:
