Business Analyst

Onsite in Stamford, CT The organization seeks a Business Analyst with strong requirements elicitation, documentation, and tool proficiency to translate intakes into clear functional specifications. The role operates within SAFe Agile while supporting a transition to waterfall practices and disciplined documentation. Success will depend on stakeholder coordination, light project management, and effective use of Lucid, Visio, Figma, and Microsoft documentation tools. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. • Lead intake sessions to capture business needs and translate them into clear, testable requirements. • Produce process flows, wireframes, and documentation using Lucid, Visio, and Figma. • Facilitate backlog refinement, user story definition, and acceptance criteria within a SAFe Agile construct. • Support transition planning and documentation as teams move from Agile to waterfall delivery. • Coordinate stakeholders, identify resource gaps, and track action items using soft project management practices. • Maintain comprehensive Microsoft Word and related documentation repositories. • Partner with product owners, engineers, and QA to ensure requirements traceability and delivery alignment. Experience Requirements: • Proven experience as a Business Analyst converting business intakes into detailed requirements. • Hands-on proficiency with Lucid, Visio, and Figma for process mapping and wireframing. • Experience working within SAFe Agile ceremonies and artifacts. • Background supporting or executing waterfall methodologies and documentation. • Demonstrated soft project management skills, including stakeholder coordination and gap identification. • Strong documentation skills using Microsoft Word and related tools.
