In this role, you will be supporting impactful projects that make a difference for our country. Responsibilities * Monitors networks and systems for security issues, suspicious activities, and compliance. * Assists in investigating security breaches/incidents and documenting findings. * Participates in system analysis, vulnerability identification, and basic compliance testing. * Supports log analysis to identify anomalous traffic or potential data leaks. * Prepares technical summaries and maintains detailed records. * Communicates compliance gaps and remediation steps to stakeholders. * Maintains awareness of vulnerabilities and threat intelligence. * Assists with audits, data calls, and compliance activities. * Contributes to incident response efforts and post-incident reviews. * Supports implementation and monitoring of security controls and toolsets. Qualifications * 5+ years of cybersecurity experience expected. * Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CompTIA CySA+, Security+, CEH) may substitute for some experience. * Familiarity with federal security standards and compliance frameworks is an asset. * Ability to follow technical instructions and learn new technologies or regulations in a dynamic environment. * Ability to work on site up to 5 days per week and the ability to keep or hold a Top-Secret Clearance * #cj Planet Technologies is the leading provider of Microsoft Consulting Services to public sector and commercial organizations.
