Data Scientist The Opportunity:
As a data scientist, you're excited at the prospect of unlocking the secrets held by a data set, and you're fascinated by the possibilities presented by IoT, machine learning, and artifi cia l intelligence. On our team, you'll use your analytical skills and data science knowledge to create real-world impact. You'll work closely with your clients to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. You'll develop algorithms and systems and use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn sets of disparate data points into objective answers to help clients make informed decisions. Ultimately, you'll provide a deep understanding of the data, what it all means, and how it can be used.

You Have:
• 1+ years of experience with data analysis, including recognizing and investigating data quality, interpreting data types, and discerning structure and relationships within data • 1+ years of experience with data visualization, including creating understandable charts with basic design principles, and application development and design • 1+ years of experience with data pipeline engineering, including executing data transformation stages, and database normalization • Experience in building or maintaining data pipelines • Experience with programming languages, including Python, R, or SQL, for data manipulation and analysis • Ability to develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations in Foundry or Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik to communicate data insights to business stakeholders • Ability to collaborate with business analysts or users to clarify requirements and work closely with different business groups to comprehend and resp ond to their reporting and dashboard needs • Ability to be self-motivated and pay strict attention to detail • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
