Ideal candidates will have prior experience in a continuous integration/continuous development (CI/CD) environment using containerization technologies (e.g. Red Hat Openshift, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.) and cloud environments (e.g. Amazon Web Services). This position requires full-time, onsite support at NSWC Dahlgren and could require occasional off-hours support (e.g. evenings).

Travel: None Clearance:

An ACTIVE Top Secret Clearance (with SCI eligibility) is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

Requirements

At least 3 years' experience supporting code deployments to a cloud environment
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)

Responsibilities

Conduct daily system checks
Support code deployments to Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)
Perform CI/CD pipeline patching, upgrades, and vulnerability scans, including Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) scans
Capture new processes and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Manage GitLab groups
Implement Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience working with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kubernetes (ELK) stacks
Advanced AWS certifications (e.g. DevOps Engineer Professional, Solutions Architect Professional)
Elasticsearch and Kibana certifications
Kubernetes Administrator certification
CompTIA CASP or CISSP certification Education: BS in STEM field preferred but not required Compensation: Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements. The projected annual compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $150,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
