We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to drive the design of intuitive, scalable, and impactful digital experiences across our customer and employee platforms.
**HOW YOU'LL HELP US KEEP CLIMBING (OVERVIEW & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)**
As a Senior UX Designer, you will lead the design of the structure and flow of complex digital experiences, including interaction design, information architecture, navigation models, and end to end user flows.
You will partner closely with product, research, content, engineering, and design system teams to frame problems, define experience strategy, and translate user needs and business goals into scalable design solutions.
**Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:**
+ Lead the design of end to end user experiences with responsibility for interaction models, information architecture, and complex user flows across web and mobile platforms.
+ Partner in discovery to frame user problems and translate research insights, behavioral data, and constraints into clear experience strategies and testable design solutions.
+ Create and evolve UX artifacts-journey maps, service blueprints, task models, wireframes, and mid to high fidelity prototypes-to align teams and drive decision making.
+ Collaborate closely with product, visual design, content, and engineering partners to ensure cohesive, accessible, and feasible experience outcomes.
+ Advocate for human centered, inclusive, and accessible design practices, influencing stakeholders through clear rationale and evidence.
+ Apply and contribute to Delta's omnichannel design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and accessibility across internal and external experiences.
+ Mentor mid level and junior designers through critiques, feedback, and knowledge sharing; contribute to evolving team standards and playbooks.
+ Partner with engineering throughout delivery to clarify requirements, assess feasibility, and ensure high-quality implementation through iterative review.
+ Use qualitative and quantitative inputs (e.g., usability findings, analytics) to prioritize and validate experience improvements.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ 5+ years of experience designing digital experiences for web and/or mobile platforms, with increasing ownership of complex UX work.
+ Strong portfolio demonstrating end to end UX ownership, including interaction design, information architecture, and complex user flows.
+ Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
+ Solid understanding of web and mobile app design guidelines, accessibility standards, and responsive design principles.
+ Proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping techniques, creating flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes at appropriate fidelity.
+ Familiarity with user research methodologies and the ability to translate insights into design decisions.
+ Strong communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills to influence cross functional teams and stakeholders.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
+ Expertise in Agile methods and Design Thinking.
+ Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
+ Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
+ Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
+ Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
+ Degree in Human Factors, Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
+ Understanding of digital accessibility design and human-centered design methods.
+ Experience designing enterprise-scale, e-commerce, or multi-platform customer or employee experiences.
+ Familiarity with analytics or experimentation data to inform and validate design decisions.
+ Experience contributing to or extending design systems and shared UX patterns.
